The Art of Archery
The technique of using a bow to project arrows is called archery. Someone who constructs bows is known as a bowyer.  While someone who shoots the bow is called an archer. Compound Bow Details
A compound bow is usually a composite recurve bow coupled with pulleys known as eccentric cams. Compound bows are much more technically sophisticated than the recurve, the bow employing wheels or ‘cams’ at the tip of the limbs.   Compound Bow Details
